Lyrics and I

Worn out dime

I've helped a homeless man get food
I payed for candy that changed a little girls mood
I've seen the world plenty of times, the mountains I really miss
I finally landed in your lap, I've always wanted this.

You're so wonderful in ever way, I hope that I'm here to stay.
You were with your friends, unaware of my joy
then you threw me out the car window as if I was a toy.
I landed tails up on the high way, I've been lost here ever since.

I thought this was a game, and you would come back for me
now all I want is to be flipped over, so at night the stars are all I see
I guess this is what life is like when you're a worn out dime
if everything is going good it's only a matter of time.

Split screen

Two lives lived
By one person
Ask me to give
Just one reason

I can see every thing
Good and the bad
As I view my split screen

All that's holding you together is the frame of this T.V.

Watch with me can you see
Why consequence isn't free

I trusted your lies
I thought you were happy
You were perfect in my eyes
I'm overwhelmed with sympathy

I want to make you happy that was all I wanted to make you happy

Two lives lived
By one person
Don't ask just give
Me one reason

I can see everything
Good and the bad
As I view my split screen

You've been caught in your act

Watch with me can you see
Why consequence isn't free
